Kilroy Realty Corporation (NYSE: KRC) is installing 5.2 MW of solar across 9 of their class A office properties located in Southern and Northern California. Arrays are installed on solar carports and rooftops. Black Bear helped structure the deal to convert energy cost savings into rental income for KRC. In this structure, KRC receives power from the solar array, and the solar provider pays rent to KRC for use of their rooftop.
