Iron Mountain (NYSE:IRM) contracted with NextEra to install 7.2 MW of solar on a data center in New Jersey, the largest rooftop solar system on a data center in the US. The system generates clean energy for Iron Mountain’s data center through a PPA. Construction started in Fall 2019 and is expected to be complete by the end of the year. Black Bear Energy represented Iron Mountain throughout the process from concept to commissioning.
