GID contracted with a solar developer to implement 749kW of rooftop solar in Somerville and Cambridge, MA. These projects create value for GID by generating revenue through lease payments, and the power is used by the local cities and low income offtakers. Black Bear Energy served as the owner’s representative throughout the process from concept to commissioning.
