As the director of the analytics team, Lindgren is responsible for overseeing the group charged with analyzing the economic value of solar and energy storage projects across the country. He draws on fifteen years of experience in data and analytics and his passion for bringing transparency into complex energy markets to build out Black Bear Energy’s analysis capabilities. Prior to working at Black Bear, Lindgren worked for S&P Global where he led data modeling and analytics teams, and developed wholesale power market forecasts widely used in the power generation and banking industries. Prior to S&P, Lindgren worked in statistics at the Energy Information Administration in Washington, D.C., focused primarily on retail power markets. Lindgren holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from West Virginia University and is a graduate of the Harvard Business Analytics Program. In his free time, he can be found riding and working on bikes, and sharing his love of snowboarding with others.
