Pat leads the finance and operations efforts for Black Bear. Prior to joining Black Bear, Pat enjoyed over 20 years of experience in both large and small growing companies, leading their finance, legal, human resources, and administrative functions. Pat has deep domain experience in capital formation and complex business transactions from early stage to public companies. Pat joins Black Bear from ION Engineering, a comprehensive technology solutions provider for the carbon capture industry where he served as CFO. Prior to ION, Pat was the CFO and Chief Accounting officer for ARCA biopharma (abio) where he successfully led their entry into the public markets. He has a B.A. in Economics from the University of Colorado and an MBA from Regis University.
