As the director of the analytics team, Lindgren is responsible for overseeing the group charged with analyzing the economic value of solar and energy storage projects across the country. He draws on fifteen years of experience in data and analytics and his passion for bringing transparency into complex energy markets to build out Black Bear Energy’s analysis capabilities. Prior to working at Black Bear, Lindgren worked for S&P Global where he led data modeling and analytics teams in the creation of machine learning and automation tools, and developed wholesale power market forecasts widely used in the electric power generation and banking industries. Prior to S&P, Lindgren worked in statistics at the Energy Information Administration in Washington, D.C., focused primarily on retail power markets. Lindgren holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from West Virginia University and is a graduate of the Harvard Business Analytics Program. In his free time, he can be found working on bikes and cars, climbing mountains with his wife, and snowboarding in the backcountry.
