As a Client Operations Associate for Black Bear Energy, Eliana works closely with clients to develop valuable solar opportunities. She is responsible for identifying solar opportunities by putting priority sites out to competitive procurement, selecting the ideal developer to partner with, and facilitating conversations between relevant parties to deliver a successful project.Previously, Eliana worked for Siemens Gamesa’s wind farm development team in France. She helped identify viable sites for wind farms and initiated the development process by working closely with local stakeholders. Before joining the renewable energy sector, Eliana worked as an English professor at the University of Lyon II in Lyon, France and for the Duolingo English Test, helping increase accessibility to language certification exams throughout the world.Eliana earned a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning from the Urban Planning Institute at the University of Lyon II and a BA in Geography from Dartmouth College. Eliana is based in Carbondale, CO, and in her free time enjoys nordic and backcountry skiing, hiking and bike packing.
