Team Member

Ben manages development and construction projects at Black Bear.  As a project development manager he oversees site planning, system design, budgeting, interconnection, and construction for solar, storage, and LED projects across the U.S. Before joining Black Bear, he worked as a solar project manager and procurement manager for a regional EPC firm and as a photovoltaic system designer for Tesla Energy. He has also worked internationally in the field as a technician on solar and storage projects. Ben holds a master’s degree in Engineering Management from the University of Colorado where he graduated with professional certificates in Project Management and Renewable Energy; and a B.A. from Colorado College. He has been a NABCEP® Certified PV Professional since 2015.
